Word of the Week: declaration
Dear ,
Sorry about that! You can meet author Landis Wade at 5:30 p.m. tonight Wednesday, July 29th at That’s Novel Books at Camp North End in Charlotte, where he'll be reading at this free event with authors Avery Caswell and Earthell Latta. Here are the
details: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/charlotte-readers-book-club-tickets-367897008857. He's a great guy to get to know, for ever so many reasons.
In case you missed this, I'm letting you know again that Landis offers all writers the opportunity to submit to the Community blog at the podcast website. It’s a way for writers to get published on the website and, as part of the new Beyond 300 format, to have them and their post be mentioned on the audio podcast. Here's the link where you can submit a
750-word-or-less blog on writing, book marketing, or creativity: https://charlottereaderspodcast.com/blog-submittal/
And here's a post Landis added to the Community Blog about Writing Books on My Bookshelves:
https://charlottereaderspodcast.com/writing-and-creativity-books-on-my-bookshelves/. I've included more about Landon below, again, in case you missed it in the Zine.
All the best,
Maureen

MAUREEN RYAN GRIFFIN, an award-winning poetry and nonfiction writer, is the author of Spinning Words into Gold, a Hands-On Guide to the Craft of Writing, a grief workbook entitled I Will Never Forget You, and two collections of poetry, This Scatter of
Blossoms and When the Leaves Are in the Water. She believes, as author Julia Cameron says, "We are meant to midwife dreams for one another."
Maureen also believes that serious "word work" requires serious WordPlay, as play is how we humans best learn—and perform. What she loves best is witnessing all the other dreams that come true for her
clients along the way. Language, when used with intentionality and focus, is, after all, serious fuel for joy. Here's to yours!
